You can help by not buying microbead infested products. In order to find these products you should look on the lable, if the label has the following ingriedients it contains microbeads, polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon. So if you see these item on the label please do not buy the product. What microbeads do is they go down the drain and are to small for the filter to stop. So they go right through and get into the oceans and lakes and then fish eat them. Then we go fishing and catch those fish and eat them, during that whole process the tiny microbead become more and more toxic. So when you eat fish you are sometimes eating toxic little beads. Another way you can help is by contactng the companies. I think if enough of you do that they will hopefully listen.
